Nutritional Basics – I have to figure out what my trigger foods are. Having said that about eating soon enough, trigger foods can override every smart move I already made. Just about everybody has them. They can be the foods that you can’t ever eat reasonably, or the foods that invariably lead you to overeating other things. There was this “weight management consultant to the stars” being interviewed one day on some TV talk show, and I never forgot what he said. When asked what his most successful clients did, he replied, “They do three things: 1. They weigh themselves regularly. 2. When they go up even a pound or two, they immediately get it off. 3. They avoid their trigger foods”.
