Weight Management Basics fall into about six categories as far as I can see:  action basics like nutrition, environment, behavior and exercise basics, and the mind/heart basics – intellect and emotions.  Amazingly, if you can make a habit of simply taking the steps involved in the action basics, you can likely get the job done.  Sort of a take the body and the mind will follow sort of thing.  But if you find that you repeatedly cannot get yourself to take a fairly simple action step like prepping some veggies, for example, or choosing a safe restaurant up front, then you may be stuck on one or both of the mind/heart basics.
