What’s the real problem? The real problem for me is often that I really don’t want to or am not convinced that I have to, not that this is not the right time, or that the circumstances need to be different for me to address whatever it is. When I buy into my diversionary tactics, I don’t ever get to the heart of the matter. I’d be better invested in working on getting myself to fix what’s really in the way – and sometimes it is simply my lack of willingness, motivation, or perhaps conviction. There are ways I can help myself get and stay convinced if I recognize that not wanting to is really my problem.
