I can “act as if”.  I can identify those behaviors, actions (and even thoughts) that I do when I am successfully being “her”.  I can do that part of the legwork.  I can earn that psych back since I am the one who generated it.  Just like with children, I want to encourage the part of me that does the right thing, and by so doing, learn to repeat those effective behaviors.  By taking the actions, I have already embraced and acted like that person I am when I am “on”.  I can be “being her” now.  I just need to wait for my body (weight) to catch up with my actions.
