I am eventually going to care. I love the whole concept of the Native American Indian tradition of making decisions based on how it will affect the tribe seven generations down the line. How about just how I will be when I am 65! I used to insist I’d rather die a thin smoker, than quit smoking and die fat. I finally quit (after 13 years of trying) because I was more afraid of not dying but living horribly disfugured like my cousin who had jaw cancer and had both sides of his face removed. Same is true with nutrition. It’s not so much the dying as living the energy-less, stiff, slow, limited life of an unhealthy older adult on 12 different medications that makes me want to step up now.
Thank you for your wisdom. I receive yo much from your musings 🙂
