I am sure I cannot be the only person who is influenced by what other people eat…like if you are thin and eat it, then I should be able to too – with impunity of course. Or if you eat it with me, it cancels out my calories.
I have a bad habit of polling the table to find out what everyone is ordering before I order as if it is permission to make a less healthy choice. Ridiculous, I know. If I order first (or at least don’t ask everyone) I may not be as influenced by others. This is especially helpful if you have a child who needs the support.
