Interestingly enough, a couple of really good changes came about because of the crazy banking I would do in preparation for these cruises.  One year about a month before the cruise, I decided to give up the bagels and cream cheese or the two crullers (one glazed, one cinnamon) that I had every Saturday and Sunday.  Aside from the calories I was able to bank towards the cruise, I found that I was actually less hungry all day and especially at dinner because I had eaten real food all day instead of those things.  I have never gone back to the bagels or crullers as a regular habit since.  Funny how the good things escalate too.  The better I do, the better I do.
