I remember when Oprah had successfully lost a bunch of weight years ago working out with Bob Greene and with Rosie cooking for her. She was actively speaking about this on her show and had started a weigh loss club. A caller was gushing about how she really “got it” this time, thanks to Oprah. She was eating low fat (the nutrition advice at that time) and had lost a chunk of weight. When Oprah asked her what she was doing for exercise, the fan replied that, “Oh, well, she hadn’t got around to that piece yet.” Oprah, without a second’s hesitation blurted out, “You’re not exercising? Oh, then you don’t ‘got it’.” Exercise is the “it” in “got it”.
