I usually don’t schedule my exercise into a time that I absolutely know I will want to be relaxing – like at the end of my often long days. When I get home, I know I like to be done with all the stuff that has to happen outside my home. So, I treat it like it is something I need to get done, another obligation like grocery shopping, and I often attach it to my workday. I am not “done with my workday” till it is done. That might mean I walk at lunch, from or in my office (I have a treadmill in my waiting room) before or after work. Here’s what I know for sure about myself: once I am in my house at the end of the day, all bets are off.
