Strategy: Don’t set up tomorrow’s binge today. Don’t buy any more than I need for the indulgence I am having right now. At least give myself the opportunity to decide not to overindulge. If I buy extra, that decision has already been made.
Why: Extra cookies, cake, chips, bread, ice cream, etc., are just a future binges committed to in advance, an “accident” waiting to happen. It is just a question of when. My freezer is not Siberia.
