One of the things I see all the time in my practice all the time is people truly intending to pay the bills, but never completely paying up. They are often baffled by the weight they are carrying. They slowly accumulate all those unresolved calories (or gradual decline in metabolic rate – that they have neither stopped by resistance training nor compensated for) as gradual weight gain. Extra weight is like a lot of accumulated unpaid credit card debt.
