April 6
My perspective is invariably off. On the one hand, I can minimize the damage and think I can fix it with a “lite” dinner. Once when I was serving h’ors d’oeuvres a catering job (OK, OK, so it is a ridiculous job for someone with an eating disorder) a gentleman who had just inhaled maybe 25 items commented that he had had a lite lunch. I remember thinking, “Based on what I just saw you eat, you’d better have not eaten for the last three days!” That’s just like the little stroll after Thanksgiving dinner that probably walks off two bites of one of the four dinner rolls I had had with my 7000 calorie meal!
