Emotional Basics – I have to accept that it will be hard some of the time otherwise I would already be doing it. Most everybody has some area that is just not their strongest suit. This is one of mine. How great to know that there are some simple steps though that I do feel like I can do. I may not feel like I can “manage my weight”, but I can cook some vegetables in advance. I can take an apple and a couple of cheeses in the car with me when I take off for the day. I can take Gracie on a walk at Ramapo. That much I can do. Add enough of these little steps together and voila – weight management. All success is, is just a bunch (a whole bunch perhaps, I’ll grant you) of these little steps strung together. I can focus on the things that I can do.
